BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) — China on Thursday called on the Netherlands to quickly and effectively find an early solution to the issue involving semiconductor maker Nexperia and help restore the security and stability of global semiconductor production and supply chains, Ministry of Commerce spokesperson He Yongqian said at a press conference on Thursday.
According to her, the source and responsibility for the current disruptions in the global semiconductor supply chain lies with the Dutch side.
He Yongqian noted that China welcomes the Dutch government's decision to suspend its administrative order against Nexperia. This is a first step in the right direction toward a proper resolution of the issue, she added.
