Washington, November 20 (Xinhua) — U.S. President Donald Trump has endorsed a 28-point peace plan to end the conflict in Ukraine, which U.S. officials developed in consultation with the Russian and Ukrainian sides, NBC News reported on Wednesday.

Trump's special envoy Stephen Witkoff, Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and the American leader's son-in-law Jared Kushner were involved in developing the plan, NBC reported, citing sources.

Three US officials reportedly told NBC that the framework for a peace agreement has yet to be presented to the Ukrainians and that the timing of the final approval of the plan coincided with a visit by US military officials to Ukraine, who arrived in Kyiv on Wednesday.
