BEIJING, November 12 (Xinhua) — In the first 10 months of 2025, 16.67 million cross-border e-commerce (CBE) parcels were exported from the Horgos Comprehensive Bonded Zone in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, a 78 percent increase from the previous year, the Xinjiang Daily newspaper reported.
According to the report, the parcels were exported primarily to countries in Central Asia and Europe. They included a wide range of products, including health and fitness products, cosmetics, toys, smart wearables, and more.
Since the beginning of this year, cross-border logistics enterprises located in the above-mentioned area in Khorgos have made great efforts to develop an intelligent delivery network and realize the seamless integration of various links such as declaration, warehousing and transportation, which has greatly improved the efficiency and quality of related services.
Xi Zhiwei, a representative of one of these companies, said that since October 20th of this year, when the pre-sale for the Singles' Day shopping festival (November 11th) began, their company's warehouses have received approximately 960,000 products sold within the fuel and energy sector in order to meet the needs of overseas consumers for fast online ordering and timely delivery. -0-
