Tbilisi, November 11 (Xinhua) — A Turkish military aircraft en route from Azerbaijan to Turkey crashed on Tuesday in Georgia's Sighnaghi Municipality, approximately 5 kilometers from the Georgian-Azerbaijani border, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

According to available information, the Sakaeronavigation search and rescue coordination center received a report of a C-130 aircraft involved in an aviation incident in Georgia near the border with Azerbaijan. A search team was dispatched to determine the suspected location of the incident and provide assistance to the victims.

It was reported that the plane disappeared from radar a few minutes after crossing the Georgian-Azerbaijani border, without transmitting a distress signal.
