BEIJING, July 18 (Xinhua) — Any attempt to forcefully "decouple" China and the United States in trade and economic terms will inevitably fail, Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao said on Friday.
Speaking at a press conference in Beijing, Wang Wentao noted that over the past years, trade and economic ties between China and the United States have experienced ups and downs, but the two countries have always remained important partners for each other.
