HAIYANG, Shandong Province, November 9 (Xinhua) — China successfully launched a new group of experimental satellites from waters off the coast of Haiyang City, east China's Shandong Province, on Sunday.

The launch was carried out by the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center using a Long March-11 launch vehicle at 5:01 a.m. Beijing time. Three Shiyan-32 experimental satellites successfully entered their designated orbits.

They will be primarily used to conduct experiments with space technologies.

This was the 606th flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles. -0-
