BEIJING, November 9 (Xinhua) — China will suspend the provisions of the 2024 notice regarding export control measures for dual-use items shipped to the United States, the Ministry of Commerce announced on Sunday.
The suspension of the second paragraph of Notice No. 46 of 2024 will take effect on Sunday and will remain in effect until November 27, 2026, the ministry said in a statement.
Under the provision suspended today, dual-use items related to gallium, germanium, antimony, and superhard materials will not be allowed to be exported to the United States at all, while dual-use items such as graphite will be subject to enhanced oversight of their end users and end uses. -0-
