Khartoum, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) — Sudan's paramilitary Rapid Intervention Force (RIF) said in a statement on Thursday that it has agreed to "enter into a humanitarian truce proposed by the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Egypt."
As noted in the statement by the RSF, the ceasefire is aimed at “eliminating the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of the ongoing civil war and strengthening the protection of the civilian population.” –0–
