BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) — In the first 10 months of this year, the number of visitors to the China-SCO Pearl International Exhibition Center, located in the China-SCO Regional Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone (hereinafter referred to as the "China-SCO Demonstration Zone") in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, increased by 13.9 percent year-on-year to 610,000, with sales reaching nearly 5 million yuan, the China-SCO Demonstration Zone reported on its public account on the Chinese social media platform WeChat.
As China's first base for practical introduction to the cultures of SCO countries, the aforementioned expo center offers the opportunity to “experience the cultures of 20 countries in one day” through a variety of international cultural events.
The second meeting of the China-Central Asia Political Party Dialogue was recently held in Qingdao. Participants also visited the Central Asian countries' pavilions at the Pearl China-SCO Expo Center.
