BEIJING, November 4 (Xinhua) — Xinhua News Agency Director-General Fu Hua met with Iranian Ambassador to China Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli in Beijing on Tuesday.
Fu Hua noted that Xinhua is willing to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Iranian media and think tanks, serving as a witness, recorder, and advocate for the development of friendly relations between the two countries.
He expressed hope that the parties would strengthen their interaction within multilateral mechanisms to contribute to the continuous strengthening of the voice of the Global South in the international arena.
A. R-Fazli, for his part, emphasized that Iran pays particular attention to relations with China and expressed hope for further expansion and deepening of cooperation with the Xinhua News Agency, using the important role of the media to promote the development of interstate relations.
