Beijing, November 4 (Xinhua) — China Energy and Mining Corporation (CHN Energy) has launched a new, highly efficient chemical export corridor to Central Asia, crossing the border through the Baktu Port in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Its launch was symbolized by the recent dispatch of two trucks carrying polyolefin products from the port to Uzbekistan, according to an industry news website run by the National Energy Administration (NEA) on Tuesday.

Prior to the launch of the new export corridor, the chemical company, part of CHN Energy, conducted meticulous preparations across various operational areas since the beginning of this year, ranging from an in-depth study of Uzbek customers' specific product specification and characteristics requirements to optimizing cross-border freight transportation in collaboration with freight forwarding companies. Thanks to this, the new route achieved rapid customs clearance within 10 minutes and a zero-error rate throughout the entire transaction process, according to the website.

As of the end of October 2025, CHN Energy has successfully opened export corridors to Central Asia through five checkpoints, exporting 13 types of polyolefin chemicals, which are widely used in the fields of public welfare and industrial production such as food packaging and household appliances. -0-
