ZHENGZHOU, November 3 (Xinhua) — The 18th China-Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Business Summit opened in Zhengzhou, central China's Henan Province, on Monday. It brought together officials, business representatives, experts, and scholars from China and more than 20 LAC countries.
The Zhengzhou Initiative on China-LAC Business Cooperation was launched at the opening of the current 18th China-LAC Business Summit in Zhengzhou.
The China Business Summit, initiated by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), is China's first institutional platform for promoting trade and economic ties with LAC countries. The program for this two-day event, themed "Facing Innovation and Intelligence for a Shared Future," includes an opening ceremony, plenary sessions, four parallel meetings, and five side events.
This year, the business summit is jointly organized by the KCSRMT, the Henan Provincial Government, and the People's Bank of China. -0-
