JIUQUAN, October 31 (Xinhua) — A farewell ceremony for the three crew members of the Shenzhou-21 manned spacecraft was held Friday at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China, according to the China Manned Space Administration (CMSA).
As the agency noted, cosmonauts Zhang Lu, Wu Fei, and Zhang Hongzhang departed for the mission at 8:49 pm Beijing time.
As of Friday, the Shenzhou-20 crew has been aboard China's Tiangong (Heavenly Palace) space station for more than 180 days and is currently actively preparing for the arrival of the Shenzhou-21 crew. –0–
