BEIJING, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) — Police investigation of pro-Taiwan independence separatist Shen Pao-yang on charges of secessionist activities is a just and necessary step to safeguard national unity, State Council Taiwan Affairs Office spokesperson Chen Binhua said on Tuesday.
Chen Binhua made the above-mentioned statement after Chongqing police announced the launch of a criminal investigation against Shen Boyang, who is suspected of activities aimed at splitting the country, including initiating and founding a separatist organization, the "Kuma Academy."
