The city of Aral, part of the 1st Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, is located at the southern foothills of the Tian Shan Mountains, on the northern edge of the Taklamakan Desert. Thanks to long hours of sunlight and significant daily temperature fluctuations, the apples grown here are distinguished by their thin skin, juicy flesh, sweet flavor, and high sugar content.
