Buenos Aires, October 26 (Xinhua) — At least 13 people were killed on Sunday in a head-on collision between a double-decker bus and a car in the province of Misiones in northeastern Argentina, local media reported, citing authorities.

According to a statement from the Misiones government, the accident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. local time on a bridge in dense fog. A vehicle carrying approximately 50 passengers, traveling from the city of Obera to the city of Puerto Iguazú, fell off the bridge into the river after colliding with an oncoming car.
