On March 29, Air China's C919 wide-body passenger jet landed safely at Xiamen's Gaoqi International Airport, successfully completing its first commercial flight from Beijing Capital Airport to Xiamen. This marked the start of regular service for the C919 on Air China's high-speed Beijing-Xiamen route.

On the same day, Air China's C919 aircraft made its first flight on the Beijing-Harbin route. These inaugural flights marked a significant step in expanding the C919's route network to the country's southeast coast and northeast regions, boosting the aviation market on these two routes and offering passengers new travel options.

In the new flight season, Air China's C919 aircraft will operate 11 routes with a frequency of 24 flights per day, covering destinations such as Beijing-Shanghai, Beijing-Hangzhou, Beijing-Guangzhou, Beijing-Chengdu and others.
