Moscow, April 1 (Xinhua) — Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) is cooperating with the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) on Iran, TASS reported Wednesday, citing SVR Director Sergei Naryshkin.
“Yes, we maintain contact with the Central Intelligence Agency, if you mean the Foreign Intelligence Service,” S. Naryshkin told reporters.
According to him, Russia is consulting with several countries on resolving the crisis in the Middle East. "The Russian side is holding consultations with various countries, the leadership of a number of countries, regarding the resolution of this grave crisis," S. Naryshkin emphasized.
