BEIJING, April 1 (Xinhua) — The China-Pakistan initiative regarding the Persian Gulf region and the Middle East is open in nature, and China welcomes the participation of all countries and international organizations, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Wednesday.
As a reminder, during talks in Beijing on Tuesday between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, the countries put forward a joint five-point initiative to restore peace and stability in the Persian Gulf region and the Middle East.
