BEIJING, April 1 (Xinhua) — During the three-day Qingming (All Souls' Day) holiday from April 4 to 6, the average daily number of passengers entering and exiting China's ports is expected to reach 2.3 million, an 11.1 percent increase year-on-year, the National Immigration Administration reported Wednesday.
The department noted that during these holidays, passenger traffic at major international airports in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing, Chengdu, and Shenzhen will increase slightly, with the busiest of these—Shanghai Pudong International Airport—expected to see an average daily cross-border passenger flow of approximately 95,000.
