Tehran, April 1 (Xinhua) — Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei sent a message to Hezbollah leader Naeem Qassem, pledging to continue supporting the resistance against the United States and Israel, the Fars news agency reported on Wednesday.
In his message, M. Khamenei thanked N. Qassem for his condolences and sympathy in connection with the “martyrdom” of his father, former Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as a result of the American-Israeli airstrike on Tehran on February 28.
M. Khamenei emphasized that steadfastness and resistance to the “most stubborn enemies” of the Islamic world, namely the United States and Israel, were among the most outstanding traits of the deceased ayatollah.
He also praised the struggle, bravery and sacrifice of the late Hezbollah leaders. –0–
