CAIRO, March 31 (Xinhua) — Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Tuesday warned that companies it accused of involvement in "terrorist espionage" could be targeted, naming several major US technology firms and calling on their employees and residents of nearby areas to leave areas where the companies are based.
The IRGC said in a statement that institutions it claims are involved in intelligence operations, communications technology development, and artificial intelligence used in strikes against Iran would be considered “legitimate targets.”
The statement specifically named several companies, including Cisco, HP, Intel, Oracle, Microsoft, Apple, Google, and Meta, among others. –0–
