TEHRAN, March 31 (Xinhua) — Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Tuesday it launched a ballistic missile attack on an Israeli container ship in the Persian Gulf.
In a statement on its official news portal Sepah News, the IRGC said the Express Halfong was attacked earlier in the day by its navy during the 88th wave of drone and missile strikes against US bases and facilities in West Asia, as well as Israeli positions.
The IRGC added that the suicide drone attacks hit a US troop shelter on the UAE coast, the US 5th Fleet's counter-drone system in Bahrain, and two advanced US early-warning radar stations at the Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base in Kuwait.
