Aden, Yemen, March 30 (Xinhua) — Fifteen people have been killed and nine others are missing due to flooding caused by heavy rains in Yemen's Taiz province, the state-run Saba news agency reported.
The flooding began on Friday morning, hitting populated areas and internally displaced person camps in the western and northwestern parts of Taiz province.
According to initial estimates, approximately 5,900 families were affected, with many homes partially or completely destroyed.
