Moscow, March 30 /Xinhua/ — The Russian tanker Anatoly Kolodkin, carrying 100,000 tons of humanitarian oil, arrived in Cuba, the Russian Ministry of Transport reported on Monday.
"The Russian tanker Anatoly Kolodkin, carrying 100,000 tons of crude oil as a humanitarian aid, arrived in Cuba. The vessel is currently awaiting unloading at the port of Matanzas," the agency said in a statement.
Earlier, Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev told reporters that Russia continues to supply humanitarian supplies to Cuba, including fuel.
The New York Times also reported earlier that the U.S. Coast Guard allowed a Russian-owned tanker carrying crude oil to arrive in Cuba after several months of an oil blockade of the country.
