BEIJING, March 30 (Xinhua) — China strongly condemns the attack on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and calls for an immediate end to all attacks on UN peacekeepers, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said at a regular press conference on Monday.
Mao Ning made the statement after UNIFIL reported early Monday morning that one UNIFIL peacekeeper was killed and another was wounded in a shell explosion at a UNIFIL position in southern Lebanon. -0-
