Tehran, March 29 (Xinhua) — At least five people were killed and four others wounded on Sunday in a US-Israeli airstrike on the port city of Bandar Pol in Iran's southern Hormozgan Province, the official IRNA news agency reported.
According to him, the target of the "terrorist" attack was the pier. The strike damaged two vessels and a car.
After the attack, rescuers and firefighters immediately arrived at the scene, and the wounded were hospitalized, IRNA reported.
On February 28, Israel and the United States launched joint attacks on Tehran and several other Iranian cities. In response, Iran launched a series of missile and drone strikes against Israel and American bases and assets in the Middle East.
