ULAN BATOR, March 29 (Xinhua) — The ruling Mongolian People's Party (MPP) nominated Nyam-Osoryn Uchral as the country's prime minister at its conference on Sunday.
39-year-old N.-O. Uchral leads the MPP and is currently the Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) of Mongolia.
As a reminder, on Friday, Mongolian Prime Minister Gombojavyn Zandanshatar resigned voluntarily.
According to local media, the resignation could have been caused by internal party disagreements or the established practice of the ruling party chairman also holding the post of prime minister. –0–
