MANILA, March 29 (Xinhua) – Five police officers were killed on Saturday evening in the province of Maguindanao del Sur on Mindanao Island in the southern Philippines, local authorities said.
According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, citing the Bangsamoro Regional Police Office, unknown assailants ambushed law enforcement officers in a patrol car.
