BEIJING, March 29 (Xinhua) — A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck the Banda Sea at 18:38 GMT Saturday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) reported.
According to preliminary data, the epicenter of the tremors was located at 7.75 degrees south latitude and 127.92 degrees east longitude. The hypocenter was located at a depth of 160.8 km. –0–
