Yerevan, March 28 (Xinhua) — Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Saturday, the Armenian Foreign Ministry's press service reported.

The interlocutors exchanged views on recent events in the Middle East and potential solutions. Humanitarian issues and multilateral agenda topics were also discussed.

On Saturday, the Armenian Foreign Minister also held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. The two sides discussed the situation in the Middle East and prospects for developing bilateral relations.

According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, A. Mirzoyan expressed concern over the escalation of the situation in the Middle East, which has resulted in casualties. He emphasized the importance of ensuring stability and peace in the region and expressed his fundamental support for efforts aimed at achieving this goal.
