Moscow, March 27 /Xinhua/ — Russia has requested closed-door consultations with the UN Security Council regarding the strikes on civilian infrastructure in Iran. These consultations will take place on March 27 at 5:00 PM Moscow time (10:00 AM New York time). RIA Novosti reported this on Friday.

"The Russian Federation has requested closed consultations with the UN Security Council in connection with the ongoing attacks on civilian infrastructure in Iran, including educational and healthcare facilities. The American presidency has scheduled the meeting for March 27 at 10:00 a.m. New York time," Yevgeny Uspensky, press secretary for the Russian mission to the UN, told reporters.
