With the support of Samotlorneftegaz (part of Rosneft), creative venues in Yugra dedicated to preserving and promoting the culture of indigenous peoples of the North have been renovated. In honor of World Theatre Day, celebrated on March 27, the professional Solntse Theatre and the Torum Maa (Sacred Land, a Khanty word for "sacred land") open-air historical and ethnographic museum in Khanty-Mansiysk were modernized.

The Solntse Theatre's stage space has been completely refurbished. Thanks to the new engineering system, directors and designers are now able to implement more complex and ambitious creative projects. Modern equipment allows for rapid stage transformations, the creation of dynamic sets, and the use of a variety of special effects—from smooth lighting changes to simulated rain and snow. The updated theatre infrastructure will make the theatre's productions more expressive and spectacular.

Thanks to Samotlorneftegaz, a theater troupe tour has also been organized throughout Yugra, including the most remote indigenous villages. Actors representing the indigenous peoples of the North present productions based on the folklore heritage of the Ob Ugrians and the works of contemporary authors. The Solntse Theater is a regular participant in national and international festivals such as the Golden Mask, Harlequin, and Mayatul.

The Torum Maa Open-Air Ethnographic Museum of the Khanty and Mansi Culture has undergone a comprehensive modernization program. The museum is located within the unique Samara Chugas Natural Park. With the Company's support, a visitor center has been established, providing facilities for seminars, master classes, educational activities, lectures, and theatrical performances based on traditions, national holidays, and rituals. The museum's entrance has been reconstructed, steep hillsides have been reinforced, and eco-ethnic trails have been updated, allowing for a broader audience for cultural and educational programs and tailoring them to different visitor groups.

The completed projects have created favorable conditions for preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of the Khanty and Mansi peoples, and have also opened up new creative prospects for the development of theatrical arts in the region.
