Almaty, March 27 (Xinhua) — An expanded meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIGC) was held in Shymkent under the chairmanship of Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, Kazinform reported on Friday, citing the Kazakh government's press service.

During his speech, O. Bektenov proposed creating an integrated platform for coordinating freight flows based on artificial intelligence, which, according to him, will reduce delivery times, lower business costs, and increase the competitiveness of Eurasian transport corridors.

Following the meeting, 12 documents were signed. The decisions adopted are aimed at further developing integration processes and strengthening the economic resilience of member states.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Bakytzhan Sagintayev, as well as representatives of observer states, including Uzbekistan, Cuba, and Iran. –0–
