URUMQI, March 27 (Xinhua) — Foreign trade cargo turnover through the Horgos border crossing in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region increased by 2.9 percent year-on-year to 7.025 million tons in the first two months of 2026, according to Horgos Customs.

In particular, the imported goods are mainly electromechanical products, raw copper and copper materials, agricultural products, foodstuffs, metal ore and mineral sands, etc. Among them, the volume of imports of agricultural products and foodstuffs has increased significantly.

The main range of export goods includes NEV vehicles, electromechanical products, high-tech products, clothing, textile yarn, fabrics and related products.
