TAIYUAN, March 26 (Xinhua) — China on Thursday launched two new satellites into space using a Long March-2D carrier rocket.
The launch vehicle lifted off at 6:51 a.m. Beijing time from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi Province, northern China, and placed the Siwei Gaojing-2 05 and Siwei Gaojing-2 06 satellites into their designated orbits.
This was the 634th flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles. -0-
