Among them, the eagle-imitating ornithopter, using a specialized eagle-like visual structure, is capable of accurately recognizing and tracking ground targets at various distances. The maximum continuous flight time of one eagle-imitating ornithopter model reaches 256 minutes.

The creation of ornithopters, which represent the most advanced technologies, faces significant challenges.

The researchers note that in the future, ornithopters need to be made "smarter and capable of autonomous flight."
