The Vykhino Gallery, part of the Moscow Exhibition Halls association, will host the exhibition "White Nights. In Dialogue with the Master," featuring works by the artist-architects of the Workshop-TAF (Theatre of Architectural Form), created in the Russian North under the direction of Alexander Ermolaev.
The project, which develops the gallery's "Protomuseum" ideas, immerses the viewer in the silence of the northern landscape, where material, place, and tradition become the artist's co-authors.
The exhibition continues to introduce "protodesign"—archaic objects from peasant life—as well as contemporary works in which artists abandon their authorial will in favor of a dialogue with the material and the spirit of the place.
