This was the first truck trial competition in the Caucasus. The URAL MOTORSPORT team participated in this significant event, offering them an opportunity to showcase their vehicles to a new audience.
Truck trials in the Caucasus are just gaining momentum, and participating in such an event for the team is not only a competitive challenge but also a contribution to expanding the discipline's geographic reach. "This event was important for us in terms of expanding our geography and attracting a new audience. The competition also served as additional training for the crews and equipment testing before the upcoming, very busy season," commented URAL MOTORSPORT team manager Viktor Yakovlev.
The team fielded three vehicles, which occupied the entire podium. The Ural 8×8 crew of Nikolai Korolev and Vladimir Petelin took victory, while the Ural 6×6 crew of Sergey Shershnev and Ivan Bolotov took second place, and Alexander Sychev and Roman Makshantsev in a Ural 4×4 rounded out the top three.
The team's newest addition, the 6×6 Ural, attracted particular attention from spectators and experts. The sports car, presented at the competition, demonstrated high reliability and readiness for heavy use. Following the races, the vehicle will be further refined based on the lessons learned, but its readiness is already estimated at 90%.
The URAL MOTORSPORT team thanks the organizers of the "Tank Breakthrough 2026" motorsport competition for the high level of organization and the spectators for their support. The lessons learned will be taken into account in preparation for future competitions.
