UNITED NATIONS, March 25 (Xinhua) — UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Wednesday called on the United States and Israel to end their war against Iran and also called on Iran to stop attacks on neighboring countries.
Speaking to reporters about the situation in the Middle East, the UN Secretary-General said his message to the United States and Israel is that "it is time to end the war, as it brings increasing suffering, the number of civilian casualties is mounting, and the global economic consequences are becoming increasingly devastating."
