Beirut, March 24 (Xinhua) — At least 17 people were killed and several others wounded in a series of Israeli airstrikes and ground operations in southern Lebanon, Mount Lebanon Governorate, and the southern suburbs of Beirut overnight and early Tuesday morning, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported.
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the attacks on Tuesday, saying it had completed another wave of airstrikes in Lebanon, hitting gas stations operated by a Hezbollah-controlled company.
