The Kitay-Gorod Gallery invites you to the exhibition "Spring of the Russian Soul." The exhibition features over 60 works created by 12 contemporary artists, graduates of leading Russian universities, between 2017 and 2026. These works include painting, ceramics, mixed media, and small-scale carved sculpture. The artists explore the phenomenon of spring through the lens of multidisciplinary analysis, seeking to present diverse interpretations of an established image.
The exhibition includes three thematic zones, each revealing a distinct concept. "Nature Awakens" captures visual metamorphoses: melting snow, the first flowers, and the return of birds. The "City and Spring" zone features urban landscapes, demonstrating how the rebirth of nature transforms the appearance of the metropolis. The "Personal Awakening" zone features works reflecting stories of the internal changes associated with spring.
