Baku, March 23 (Xinhua) — Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi on Monday, during which they emphasized the importance of ensuring security in the Caspian Sea region, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's press service reported.
During the conversation, the heads of the foreign policy departments also exchanged views on possible efforts aimed at ending military action in the Middle East.
J. Bayramov once again conveyed to his interlocutor the expectations of the Azerbaijani side regarding the completion of the investigation into the attacks of unmanned aerial vehicles carried out from the territory of Iran on the Azerbaijani Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
