BEIJING, March 23 (Xinhua) — Jin Xiangjun, former deputy secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Shanxi Provincial Committee (North China), has been charged with accepting bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate said Monday.
The prosecutor's indictment states that Jin Xiangjun, while holding various positions over the years, including that of Chairman of the People's Government of Shanxi Province, abused his powers and official position in the interests of third parties, receiving from them in exchange monetary and material assets on an especially large scale.
In October 2025, he was expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) and dismissed from public service for serious violations of party discipline and laws.
