Beijing, March 20 (Xinhua) — The current situation in the Middle East continues to deteriorate, undermining the stability of global energy supplies and triggering a serious humanitarian crisis, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Friday.
Wang Yi, also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made the statement during a telephone conversation with Emmanuel Bonne, diplomatic adviser to the French president. The conversation was initiated by the French side.
