BEIJING, March 20 (Xinhua) — The immediate priority now is to contain the spread of the conflict and prevent further involvement of other countries, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Friday.
Wang Yi, also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made the announcement during a telephone conversation with Emmanuel Bonne, diplomatic adviser to the French president. The conversation was initiated by the French side.
