The 33rd Trinity Ski Marathon was held on Sakhalin Island with the support of Sakhalinmorneftegaz-Shelf (a subsidiary of Rosneft Oil Company). Nearly 1,000 skiers from the Sakhalin Region and other regions of the Far East took part in the competition.

This year, the marathon acquired a new status, becoming part of the prestigious all-Russian RussiaLoppet series. This large-scale project promotes skiing, unites amateurs and professionals in mass events, and motivates participants to travel throughout Russia.

The Trinity Marathon course features varied terrain and passes through picturesque locations, including the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk. The starting area is located in the village of Troitskoye, offering panoramic views of the mountain range stretching along the Susanay Valley. Distances range from 200 meters to 50 kilometers, catering to athletes of all ages and skill levels. Particular attention is paid to the younger generation, with organizers preparing races ranging from 200 meters to 3 kilometers. The marathon also accommodates participants with disabilities, with special routes of 1 and 2 kilometers.

Over 200 athletes representing the professional ski community competed in endurance events over 25 and 50 km distances. Sakhalinmorneftegaz-Shelf employees, who participate in the marathon annually and share the values of a healthy lifestyle, also demonstrated a high level of training on the course.
