The city's Center for Professional and Career Development is accepting applications for the new "District Media Leader" project. The training course is designed for those who want to cover events in the capital and create high-quality content. Participants will immerse themselves in modern journalism and social media: they will learn how to write texts, shoot photos and videos, attract and analyze audiences. Upon completion of the course, each participant will receive a completed portfolio featuring real-life case studies.
"Participants will cover life in the capital's districts and the city as a whole—from socio-political issues and infrastructure development to entrepreneurship, culture, and sports. At the end, each participant will present their own media project. This could include reports, analytical materials, or videos. Professional mentors will help the authors of the best works develop their blogs," said Evgeny Andrienko, Director of the City Center for Professional and Career Development.
The theoretical part includes lectures by journalists, media marketers, advertisers, and content producers. In the practical part, participants will attend regional and city events (concerts, festivals, master classes) and visit the offices of major companies to prepare materials for social media.
