Specialists from the St. Petersburg Corporate Research Institute successfully tested a mobile unit for separating high-viscosity oil produced at the Russkoye field of Tyumenneftegaz (part of Rosneft).
The plant's primary equipment is a centrifuge, a high-speed automatic separation device. Inside the centrifuge drum, the oil emulsion is continuously separated into dehydrated oil, water, and solids. The plant's capacity is up to 840 m³/day. The centrifugal separator is hermetically sealed and operates with an inert gas supply to the drum, ensuring the safety and reliability of the process.
The key advantage of the solution is its mobility, enabling rapid deployment in the field, including at remote and hard-to-reach fields. The use of mobile systems will reduce capital expenditures on field development by up to 40% and energy costs for remote well pads by at least 25%.
