Almaty, March 18 (Xinhua) — Amid the rapid growth of Chinese tourism in Kazakhstan—over 876,000 visits in the first 11 months of 2025—8B is providing Kazakh companies with the infrastructure to convert this flow into real revenue, the publication "Business Kazakhstan" reported on Wednesday.

The initiative involves the launch of WeChat Pay and access to the Weixin/WeChat ecosystem, which boasts 1.4 billion users. The integration will allow businesses to accept payments from Chinese tourists directly through WeChat Pay, the service most Chinese people use for everyday payments.

2025 has become the Year of Chinese Tourism in Kazakhstan, and initiatives to develop tourism are being actively implemented between China and Kazakhstan. –0–
